This stunning two bedroom cottage is nestled in the woodland of Bodmin Moor, the countryside surroundings inspired the design brief, with the Client wanting to create a real retreat for the holiday market.
The project was focussed around injecting texture, warmth and depth to an open blank canvas, particularly softening the high ceilings. The cottage was totally refurbished, with a new bathroom design, all new flooring and lighting, through to the finishing touches and furnishings. The Client wanted to ensure the space was practical for letting, but a tranquil space for those looking to escape to Cornwall.
The resulting interior is a high end, yet usable, space. There are gentle nods to the surrounding woodlands, combined with subtle luxuries.
