This gorgeous Cornish cottage is located in a quiet village in North Cornwall, near to both Countryside and the Coast. It was originally a very dark space, with poor lighting design and was lacking in spirit and personality. The cottage is very attractive from the exterior, and is stone built, like many Cornish cottages. The brief was to totally refresh the Interior, installing new lighting to make the property feel brighter and larger.
The cottage was totally stripped back to the bones, with the entire kitchen being redesigned. The photographs show how dark and unpractical the original kitchen was, and how transformed and airy it now feels. The kitchen is now a shaker style, a timeless design, with more contemporary Quartz worktops, in a marble effect. The result is a more functional and attractive kitchen, which photographs beautifully, which is especially important for the letting aspect to this property.
We specified and oversaw the installation of a new wood burner to the existing chimney.
The bedrooms have totally cohesive colour schemes, with each having their own look and personality.
