This family kitchen has undergone a total transformation! The old kitchen was tired, impractical and lacked any sense of design identity. The family lead a busy life, with demanding jobs and schedules, therefore we oversaw the entire project, and used our trusted team of Trades to carry out all works, handing the family back a finished space.
We had a tight time frame of three weeks from start to finish. The old AGA heating system was taken out, with a new system installed, and a more practical induction Rangemaster fitted in the space, enabling he family quick and easy cooking, and a more reliable heating system. The kitchen also had electric underfloor heating fitted, for those cold winter months in this old cottage, this was paired with some classic plank tiles to maximise the efficiency.
The cottage has very low ceilings, so the Clients wanted to keep the space bright and light, with no overpowering colours. Therefore we kept the colour palette neutral, and injected some texture with the wood effect flooring and the beautiful tin tile backsplash tiles. The finished space gives the family a more practical cooking space, lots of storage, a more energy efficient space and a kitchen much easier on the eye.
